Mmmm. That’s all I need to say about this… Just kidding! There’s more:

Ingredients

  • Center cut, bone in Pork Chops (However many you want to make)
  • Apples (1 apple for each Pork Chop)
  • 1 tsp Trocomare or Celtic Sea Salt
  • 2 Tbs Grapeseed Oil
  • 3 Tbs Honey

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Rinse off the chops
  • Place them in a pan
  • Sprinkle Trocomare
  • Drizzle Oil
  • Cut apples (It’s better not to cut them too thin for some reason)
  • Put the apples on top of the chops.  Making sure that the chops are totally covered by the apples.
  • Drizzle Honey
  • Put in the oven on the middle or top rack for 1 hour (feel free to bake a little more if your apples aren’t soft enough).
  • EAT!!!!

Leftovers

This is my only pork chop recipe, and so I don’t have the data to say that it’s the best one ever.  But I’m going to say it anyway.  This is the BEST PORK CHOP RECIPE EVER. So there.  It’s crazy simple and easy and tender and if you like pork, and if you like pork with apple sauce, this is the recipe for you.

FYI, Where & Why

You can get Trocomare at Whole Foods.  It’s a really delicious herb salt that I have, very literally, been using most of my life.  I highly recommend.

Good Luck!
