Today I am grateful for comfortable shoes.

I’ve been doing a lot of walking the past few days. Last night I went out and since it was nighttime, and I wanted my legs to appear longer and more impressive than they naturally are, I wore my high heeled boots. These boots are actually quite comfortable (and I love them). But no matter how comfortable your 3 inch heels are, after strolling in them for a few miles, they don’t feel all that comfortable anymore.

I’m just saying, those last few blocks were not fantastic.

Today I did the same walk, but instead of fancy, leg elongating boots, I wore my comfy sneakers. And while I am back down to my usual 5’3″ and a 1/2 instead of the towering 5′ 7″ I was last night. I am in a much better mood right now. Coincidence? I think not.

What’s your gratiTUDE, today?

What is a “GratiTUDE”?:

GratiTUDE is a  general attitude of thankfulness and gratefulness.

What is “What’s Your GratiTUDE?”: Every day, for as long as I can keep it going, I’m going to tell you something I’m grateful for. I want to do this because I want to remind myself how fortunate I am in a more concrete way. They will be small things, big things, meaningful things, and seemingly inconsequential things. They may repeat on some days if I happen to feel grateful for the same thing more than once. I’m not planning it or mapping it out. I’m just feeling grateful, publicly.  And I’d like you, if you’re feeling it, to do the same.
